Supporting Students through Children’s Literature
The 2020 Master Class focuses upon supporting students and teachers who are navigating and/or healing from traumatic contexts. In this session we bring together researchers and children’s authors who are a “confluence” of research and practice to support everyone in navigating challenging conversations and helping students overcome traumatic events. The panel features award winning authors Ruth Behar, Ellen Hopkins, Janae Marks, and Dan Santat.
