The Children’s Literature Assembly would like to express its thanks to E. B. Lewis, Brian Selznick, Lynne Rae Perkins, and Will Hillenbrand for their generous donations of original art for the Children’s Literature Assembly Silent Auction!

This oval watercolor, contained in an 8 x 9 inch frame, is an autographed study by Lynne Rae Perkins for her picture book, The Broken Cat.

This original pencil sketch of the main character in The Invention of Hugo Cabret was done by Brian Selznick for the CLA silent auction. The 2 x 3 inch sketch is contained in what looks like a small (3 x 4 inch) jewelry box. On top of the box is a cover image of Selznick’s book, and the sides of the box are covered with velvet. The box opens to reveal the sketch on the left side and a small clock on the right side.

This 15 x 11 inch watercolor is signed by E. B. Lewis.

This is a 5 x 6 ¼ inch, mixed-media print signed by Will Hillenbrand and dated 2007. The raccoon is done in paper collage on a background of blue watercolor.
