Joyce Sidman, recipient of the 2011 Newbery Honor for Dark Emperor and Other Dark Poems of the Night will wrap your imagination around her fall release, Swirl by Swirl: Spirals in Nature. After the program, bid on original works of art in CLA's silent auction. Or, perhaps you'll be the raffle winner of a library of books nominated for the CLA notable list. Join us for an inspiring talk, great conversation, and a copy of Joyce's book, compliments of Houghton Mifflin Books for Children.
