The Journal of Children’s Literature is a refereed journal devoted to teaching, research, and scholarship in the field of children’s literature. It is the publication of the Children’s Literature Assembly (CLA) of NCTE and is published twice annually.

The current co-editors and the new editor(s) will work together during the production of the Spring 2025 (JCL 51.1) and Fall 2025 (JCL 51.2) issues as part of the editorship transition process.
