CLA Blog 2021 Summer Hiatus

All throughout this unusual school year, you have observed the power that literature plays in your classroom as your students developed a better understanding of themselves, of others, and of the world in general, in part due to the books and texts you shared and discussed.
 
We hope that reading this summer is a central part of your rest and rejuvenation, and (after that!) your preparation for the next school year.
 
We wish for you the opportunity of time to enjoy books for your personal and professional self, as well as time to explore possible titles for your classroom next year that can help start rich conversations on topics of deep importance to young people.
